I was a freshman and first teaching web design at the University of Southern California at the time. Back then, the Internet was born and I was there to watch it unfold from the beginning at a high tech academic institution. We used telnet to open our emails and C, the most rudimentary computer language, was the computer language of choice for computers at that time.
