Many people will choose a kerosene patio heater because they have been around for a long time and are fairly dependable.

Using an electric patio heater that uses an electrical cord, however, means that you should have an electrical outlet located within your patio.

If your patio is enclosed by something solid such as glass, then you will probably not have a lot of air circulating through it when it is cold outside; youll keep any windows or doors closed to conserve heat.

With halogen heat, the heat is very concentrated, and radiated in a much more efficient form.

Placing a fireplace patio heater either in the center of your patio or on one side of your patio means that your guests and family will stay warm when they are out there.

For this reason, you will usually want a heater that looks nice enough to complement the dcor of your patio and the surrounding yard and garden.
